Overview

HuddleMirror detects active communication context on your Mac so it can mirror your status to connected Slack workspaces. The app is designed to keep local signals local by default.

Data Stored On Device

HuddleMirror stores workspace settings, status templates, and app preferences on your Mac. Slack tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain, and the app does not record or save microphone audio.

How Data Is Used

The app checks whether your microphone is active, optionally reads calendar events to detect meetings, and combines those signals with Slack-specific state to decide when to apply or restore a status. These checks happen on-device.

External Services

If you connect a Slack workspace, HuddleMirror communicates with Slack APIs and Slack Socket Mode so it can verify huddle status and update your Slack presence. Calendar data is accessed through Apple EventKit only when you grant permission.

Tracking And Advertising

HuddleMirror does not use advertising SDKs, does not sell your data, and does not collect analytics or cross-app tracking identifiers.
