Overview

Leaf combines app-owned lists with optional Apple Reminders integration across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. The app is designed around Apple system services instead of third-party advertising or analytics tooling.

Data Stored On Device

Leaf stores your local tasks, list settings, widget state, and app preferences on your devices. If iCloud sync is enabled for Leaf, Apple CloudKit can sync your app-owned list data across your devices using your personal Apple account.

Optional Permissions

Leaf can access Reminders to show and manage your selected reminders list, Calendar to show nearby events, Location to switch lists automatically when you arrive at saved places, and Microphone plus Speech Recognition to turn dictation into tasks. These permissions are optional and tied to the features that need them.

How Data Is Shared

Leaf does not sell your list data. When you choose Apple-powered sync or companion features, your data may move between your own devices through Apple services such as CloudKit, widgets, Live Activities, and WatchConnectivity.

Tracking And Advertising

The current Leaf codebase does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. Your checklist and reminders data is not used for behavioral advertising.
