// Notchful Privacy Policy
Notchful is a native macOS notch utility built around local workflows. It does not require an account, does not sell personal data, and is designed to keep your workspace data on your Mac.
// Policy Text
Overview
Notchful turns the MacBook notch into a compact workspace for quick controls, notes, timers, calendar context, app batches, camera mirror, file shelf actions, and local utility workflows. The app is designed to run as a local-first Mac companion.
Data Stored On Device
Notchful may store notes, settings, timer state, app launcher entries, recent file-shelf items, and permission preferences inside its local app container on your Mac. This data is used only to provide the features you choose to use.
Optional Permissions
Notchful asks for macOS permissions only when a feature needs them. Calendar and Reminders access are used to show local schedule and reminder items, Camera access powers the camera mirror, Notifications support timers and local reminders, Apple Events support media controls, and user-selected files or folders are accessed only after you choose them.
Purchases
Notchful may offer optional consumable coffee-tip purchases. These purchases do not unlock features, do not change app functionality, and are processed by Apple through StoreKit.
Tracking And Advertising
Notchful does not use advertising SDKs, does not sell or rent personal data, and does not collect cross-app tracking identifiers. The Mac App Store build does not require a remote account service.
